Description

Brisas del Mogoton is a Estate Farm located at the foot of the Mogoton mountain in Mozonte, Nueva Segovia. The farm belongs to the Jimenez Brothers and it is managed by Bayardo Jimenez, the eldest of the brothers. The coffee plantation has an altitude that goes from 1,300 masl up to 1,500 masl.

The plantation has a wonderful combination with the pine trees natural forest and wild life of the mountain. The Jimenez brothers have improved their processing methods and fermentation of the coffee ranging between 28 and 40 hours per batch of washed coffees. The main varieties of the farm are: Maracaturra, Maragogype, Bourbon and Caturra.
The most famous coffee plot of the Estate is known as “”El Barril””, which has been a COE winner in 2017 and 2018.
